The purpose of this blog is not:
- To tell you what is true. The Holy Spirit leads us into all truth, not me. Yet, He uses me.
- To question the motives or character of people who hold beliefs that I question.
- To make you dependent on my insights or beliefs. We depend on the indwelling Spirit.
- To have you agree with everything I write and say. Everyone has flaws in their views and beliefs, myself included. Nobody has it all together. Only Jesus does. Therefore, we look and listen to Him for answers.

I hadn’t been aware of many of the ways I had been trying to ‘get my faith right’ still being upset by my inability to completely ‘surrender all’, upset by my judgement of my ‘performance’.
It was such a huge relief to find out that Jesus has already done it all. It was like finally drinking the refreshing, effervescent lemonade in the bottle instead of studying and puzzling over the written label. Being able to REST from striving, from thinking I should be able to do better, but unable to.
I keep re-reading the teachings and re-reading my bible with new insight. I am finding I am often subtly misdirected from the incredible and wonderful ‘are you sure – ‘it’s too good to be true! ?’ Truth.

Bas, I am trying to reach you to ask if you would pray for me. I’ve known the Lord Jesus for 42 years and have even written a book about eternal security and am well acquainted with your grace teachings and love them. My husband and I have been implementing your teachings on healing, but where my sleep problems are concerned we can’t seem to make progress! I take a drug called Klonopin for sleep and numerous natural substances. I only take 20 mgs, but cannot get off of it and the doctor says it’s dangerous to go cold turkey. I know Jesus can and wants to heal me, but how to have it manifest has been very illusive. Please, can you pray for me in some way? I know you come to the states once in a while. Are you coming any time soon? Or, can we connect via the iphone?

Thank you for reaching out. We don’t have to do it over phone or whatever, there is no distance between you and me in the spirit, I am there now with you in that sense, and am praying for you. In Jesus name, be healed and recovered from top till too, everything that is not in line with our Father’s will I command it to be right and be in line with the Kingdom right now!
